That was fine, guys. Grim Reaper Supermatch was less innovative than Rome Supermatch, but better. The shock has subsided, allowing us to enjoy Grim Reaper Supermatch without being overwhelmed by novelty. The Supermatch function, which matches symbols on rows from bottom to top, remains, but the studio added many additional features and adjustments to make Grim Reaper Supermatch better than the original. Not that Rome Supermatch was a bad debut, but Grim Reaper Supermatch was more balanced, enjoyable, and effective in its feature interactions.
The theme, Nailed It!, was encouraging. Games choose something unusual. By appearance, the Grim Reaper is a female who reigns a deliciously creepy domain. Features-wise, the gameplay has few flaws. Players get a feature when reaching the third row, which isn’t a big ask, but they tend to be Soul Boosters, which didn’t do much in the base game. Red Souls in free spins can help remove low-pay symbols and get hooks in extra free spins. Making it to the top and activating Mega Respins wasn’t impossible and may be enjoyable.
